SLP has developed a new Ram Air H.O. hood for the 1998-2002 Firebird. This hood really enhances your cars already tough image. The aggressive air intake scoops will set your Firebird apart from the ordinary crowd. The hood is designed to work in conjunction with your cars original air box and provide ram air effect cold air breathing to your engine. Gains of 10 to 15 additional horsepower are possible, depending on engine size. The hood is shipped to you (or your body shop) ready for body work, prep, prime and paint. All necessary hardware and detailed instructions are included. NOTE: Trial fit all body components BEFORE priming and / or painting. When ordering a hood on our online ordering system, BPAP requires a SHIP TO address of a business or body shop. BPAP will not ship any hood to a home address. After you place an order for a hood, BPAP will send you a confirmation that your order has been received. At this time, you must provide SLP with a correct business or body shop address.
